Pedro Beredjiklian, MD

Principal Investigator

Dr. Beredjiklian is the Senior Vice President of Clinical Affairs for Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. In addition, he serves as Chief of the Hand Service of Rothman Orthopaedic Institute and is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He is also on the Board of Directors of Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. At CORA he leads CORA clinical research direction, and partnerships across clinical and computational teams.

Amir Kachooei, MD Ph.D.

Dr. Kachooei is a leading orthopaedic surgeon and researcher with extensive expertise in upper extremity and reconstructive surgery. He serves as the President of the FOAF and holds 9 patents with over 150 peer-reviewed publications, reflecting his commitment to advancing innovation and evidence-based practice in orthopaedics. At CORA, Amir Kachooei leads clinical research strategy, clinical affairs, and educational initiatives.

Ashkan Sedigh, Ph.D.

Director of Computational Engineering

Ashkan is a computational and biomechanical engineer and entrepreneur with more than eight years of experience in health technology innovation. His work focuses on biomechanics, computational modeling, medical wearables, additive manufacturing, and digital orthopaedic systems. He holds more than ten patents related to wearable medical devices and digital manufacturing technologies, and his research has received multiple national and international orthopaedic grants. At CORA, he leads computational and engineering initiatives, coordinates partnerships across multidisciplinary engineering teams, and supports the development and clinical translation of AI-enabled orthopaedic technologies.
